CEMARAN LOGAM PB DAN CD PADA ECENG GONDOK (EICHHORNIA CRASSIPES) DI PERAIRAN CIKARANG BARAT SEBAGAI RESPON BIOAKUMULATOR

Abstract


Area as a center of the industry has its own problems of pollution , will be more problematic when the waste products in the form of pollutants that are difficult to decompose polluting the marine environment if discharged into rivers or irrigation canals . Heavy metals are toxic and its presence in the body is not yet known benefits of Pb and Cd. Eichornia crassipes  is one kind of plant that can be used as a biomonitoring aquatic environmental pollution . This study took a sample of Eichornia crassipes in the waters of Cikarang Barat using Inductively Coupled Plasma ( ICP ) . This research is a descriptive study , to determine the ability of Eichornia crassipes as absorbent bioakumulator Pb and Cd in the waters of Cikarang Barat . The results of this study showed that Eichornia crassipes can absorb metals Pb and Cd . Results The average concentration of heavy metals adsorbed Pb : Control = 0.000 mg / L , 1 point = not detected , point 2 = 0.0026 mg / L , point 3 = 0.1174 mg / L. While the average concentration of heavy metals Cd : control = 0.0094 mg / L , 1 point = 0.1549 mg / L , point 2 = 0.0125 mg / L , point 3 = 0.0107 mg / L.
