HUBUNGAN ASUPAN ZAT GIZI, STATUS GIZI, AKTIVITAS FISIK, DAN GAYA HIDUP TERHADAP DAYA TAHAN KARDIORESPIRATORI PADA MAHASISWA UKM SEPAKBOLA UNIVERSITAS NEGERI LAMPUNG TAHUN 2015

Abstract


Abstract

Football is a sport that requires a good cardio respiratory endurance. To support cardio respiratory endurance, it should consider several factors such as: age, sex, nutrition, nutritional status, physical activity habits of smoking and drinking alcohol. This research aims to know the relation of nutrient intake, nutritional status, physical activity and lifestyle to cardiorespiratory endurance at football student organization Lampung University 2015. This research is quantitative with cross sectional research design. With a total of 48 respondents. Data were analyzed using Pearson product moment and t-test independent. Characteristics of respondents aged 18-23 years. The average value of VO2max student football organization Lampung University 47.40 ml / kg / min. The results revealed a normal BMI (79.2%), percent body fat normal (77.1%). Average energy intake of Football Student Organization 1921.7 ± 372.08 kcal, 13:02 ± 68.32 g protein, fat 11.3 ± 32.87 g, 266.6 ± 54.4 g carbohydrates, vitamin B6 0.41 ± 1.1 mg, vitamin B12 is 4.8 ± 7.04µg, vitamin C 29.5 ± 2.1 mg, and Fe 2.1 ± 2.7 mg. Total of 43.8% of students smoked and 87.5% of students not consume alcohol. There is a significant relation between percent body fat, intake of energy intake, protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin B6, Fe, and smoking habits and alcohol consumption (p<0.05). There is no significant relations between BMI, vitamin B12, vitamin C, and physical activity (p> 0.05). Besides physical activity, players need to pay attention to nutrient intake, avoid smoking, and alcohol consumption to support the cardio respiratory endurance and enhance the Performance during the match. It was necessary to counseling and nutritional counseling to increase knowledge for coaches and student-related Football sports nutrition.

Abstrak

Sepakbola merupakan olahraga yang memerlukan daya tahan kardiorespiratori yang baik. Untuk menunjang ketahanan kardiorespiratori, maka harus memperhatikan beberapa faktor seperti: usia, jenis kelamin, asupan gizi, status gizi, aktifitas fisik kebiasaan merokok dan minum alcohol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan zat gizi, status gizi, aktivitas fisik dan gaya hidup terhadap daya tahan kardioespiratori pada mahasiswa UKM Sepakbola Universitas Negeri Lampung Tahun 2015. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampling jenuh dan jumlah responden yang didapat yaitu 48 mahasiswa UKM Sepakbola. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik pearson product moment dan uji t-test independent. Karakteristik usia responden 18-23 tahun. Rata-rata nilai VO2max mahasiswa UKM Sepakbola Unila 47.40 ml/kg/menit. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui IMT normal (79.2%), persen lemak tubuh tidak lebih (77.1%). Rata-rata asupan energi mahasiswa UKM Sepakbola 1921.7 ± 372.08 kkal, protein 68.32 ± 13.02 g, lemak 32.87 ± 11.3 g, karbohidrat 266.6 ± 54.4 g, vitamin B6 1.1 ± 0.41 mg, vitamin B12 4.8 ± 7.04 µg, vitamin C 29.5 ± 2.1 mg, dan Fe 2.1 ± 2.7 mg. Sebanyak 43.8% mahasiswa UKM Sepakbola merokok. Sebanyak 87.5% mahasiswa UKM Sepakbola tidak konsumsi alkohol. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara persen lemak tubuh, asupan energi, asupan protein, asupan lemak, asupan karbohidrat, asupan vitamin B6, asupan Fe, kebiasaan merokok dan konsumsi alkohol. Tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara IMT, asupan vitamin B12, vitamin C, dan aktivitas fisik (p > 0.05). Selain aktivitas fisik, pemain perlu memperhatikan asupan gizi, menghindari merokok dan konsumsi alkohol untuk menunjang daya tahan kardiorespiratori dan meningkatkan performa di lapangan. Sehingga perlu diadakan penyuluhan dan konsultasi gizi untuk menambah pengetahuan bagi pelatih dan mahasiswa UKM Sepakbola terkait dengan gizi olahraga.
