Abstract

Abstract

Background: Currently, the technology has been highly developed to facilitate all activities, so that makes people become less mobile (hypokinetic), for example the current technologies that enable people in activities that use remote control, computers, elevators, escalators. So that physical activity be reduced and will cause many problems for members of the motion, whereas movement is a basic human need to be able to perform daily activities also interact and adapt to the environment. Motion is a basic human need and also the demands of the environment against him, to be able to perform activities using individual capacity owned by, among others, the ability to perform the motion, functional activity, physical activity. Objective: To determine differences in the provision of training on hamstring curl swissball with lying leg curl exercises to increase in hamstring muscle kekuatann in futsal players. Methods: This study is a quasi-experiment with pre-test-post-test control group design in which an increase in the strength of the hamstring muscles hamstring curl exercises on swissball and lying leg curl exercise as measured by the dynamometer. Sample consisted of 20 people from futsal players excel and selected one university based purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires that have been made. Sample grouped into two treatment groups, treatment group 1 consisted of 10 samples with a given exercise is the hamstring curl on swissball and 2 treatment groups consisting of 10 samples with a given exercise is lying leg curl. Results: Shapiro Wilk normality test to test the normal distribution of data obtained and there were not distributed normally while the test with Levene's test of homogeneity of data obtained have homogeneous variance. The results of hypothesis testing in the group treated with t-1 Related Test p value = 0.000, which means the hamstring curl exercises on swissball can increase the strength of the hamstring muscles in futsal players. In the 2 treatment groups with the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test p-value = 0.005, which means lying leg curl exercises to improve the strength of the hamstring muscles in futsal players. In the t-test results show the value of Independent p = 0.001, which means there are significant differences in the effect of an increase in hamstring muscle strength between treatment groups 1 and 2 treatment groups. Conclusions: the differences in the provision of training on hamstring curl swissball with lying leg curl exercises to increase in muscle strength hamstring in futsal players.
