Penambahan NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) Pada Pilates Exercise Lebih Baik dalam Meningkatkan Core Stability Pada Remaja Putra Tidak Terlatih
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Remaja putra sangat perlu core muscles yang bagus untuk menunjang seluruh kegiatan yang ditekuninya. Jika core muscles yang dimilikinya tidak bagus, maka sangat berakibat cukup fatal terhadap pertumbuhan posture, dan ketidakmampuan mengantisipasi macam-macam cidera yang bisa dialaminya (low back pain, hernia nucleus pulposus, dll). Peranan core muscles terhadap posture sangatlah besar dan sangat berkaitan dengan keseluruhan extremitas tubuh karena merupakan topangan utama tubuh. Oleh karena itu, core muscles yang lemah dan tidak stabil bisa berakibat fatal ketika melakukan variasi kegiatan olahraga (futsal, basket, dll) yang mengakibatkan cidera pada extremitas (seperti: rupture anterior cruciatum ligament, illiotibial band syndrome, patellofemoral pain, dll). Oleh karena itu, penanganan yang dapat dilakukan oleh fisioterapi sebagai langkah pencegahan/prevention adalah dengan intervensi NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) dan pilates exercise. Tujuan: 1) Untuk mengetahui penambahan NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) pada pilates exercise lebih baik dalam meningkatkan core stability pada remaja putra tidak terlatih. 2) Untuk mengetahui penambahan NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) pada pilates exercise dapat meningkatkan core stability pada remaja putra tidak terlatih. 3) Untuk mengetahui pilates exercise dapat meningkatkan core stability pada remaja putra tidak terlatih. Metode: Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu True Eksperimental. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Pre dan Post Test Control group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja putra berusia 13-22 tahun yang bukan atlit. Kondisi sampel diambil berdasarkan dengan kriteria inklusif dan eksklusif. Sampel dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok perlakuan berjumlah 7 orang dengan pemberian NMES dan pilates exercise. Kelompok kontrol berjumlah 7 orang dengan pemberian pilates exercise. Hasil: Hasil dari uji normalitas dengan menggunakan saphiro-wilk test menunjukkan bahwa sampel penelitian berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan hasil uji homogenitas dengan menggunakan levene’s test diperoleh hasil data yang homogen. Data pada kelompok perlakuan sebelum (pre) intervensi mean = 41 (SD = 5.033) dan sesudah (post) intervensi mean = 116 (SD = 3.146). Hasil uji hipotesis pada kelompok perlakuan dengan t-test related didapatkan nilai p = 0.000 yang berarti penambahan NMES pada pilates exercise dapat meningkatkan core stability pada remaja putra tidak terlatih. Pada kelompok kontrol, data sebelum (pre) intervensi mean = 41.71 (SD = 3.729) dan sesudah (post) intervensi mean = 98.29 (SD = 2.812). Dilakukan pengujian dengan t-test related didapatkan nilai p = 0.000 yang berarti pilates exercise dapat meningkatkan core stability pada remaja putra tidak terlatih. Pada kelompok pelakuan dan kelompok kontrol dengan data sesudah (post) intervensi kelompok perlakuan mean = 116 (SD = 3.830) dan data sesudah (post) intervensi kelompok kontrol mean = 98.29 (SD = 2.812) diuji dengan t-test independent untuk menguji signifikansi komparatif dua sampel yang tidak berpasangan (independent) didapatkan nilai p = 0.000 yang berarti penambahan NMES pada pilates exercise lebih baik dalam meningkatkan core stability pada remaja putra tidak terlatih. Kesimpulan: Penambahan NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) pada pilates exercise lebih baik dalam meningkatkan core stability pada remaja putra tidak terlatih.

Abstract
Background: Young men desperately need a good core muscles to support all activities are practiced. If the core muscles its not good, it is quite fatal consequences on growth posture, and the inability to anticipate the kinds of injuries that can be suffered (low back pain, herniated nucleus pulposus, etc.).The role of the core muscles of the posture is very large and very related to the extremities of the body as a whole is the main strut body. Therefore, the core muscles are weak and unstable can be fatal when doing variations of sports activities (indoor soccer, basketball, etc.) which result in injury to the extremities (such as rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, illiotibial band syndrome, patellofemoral pain, etc.). Therefore, the treatment can be carried out by physiotherapists as a prevention measure is to intervention of NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) and Pilates exercise.Objectives: 1) To know the addition of NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) at pilates exercise better in improving core stability in untrained young men. 2) To know the addition of NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) at pilates exercise can increase core stability in untrained young men. 3) To know pilates exercise can increase core stability in untrained young men. Methods: The design used is True Experimental. In this study, using the approach of Pre and Post Test Control Group Design. The samples in this study were young men aged 13-22 years who are not athletes. Condition of the sample taken based on the inclusive and exclusive criteria. The samples were divided into 2 groups: the treatment group and the control group. Treatment groups amounted to 7 people with the provision of NMES and pilates exercise. The control group amounted to 7 people with the provision of pilates exercise. Results: The results of the test for normality by using the Shapiro-Wilk test showed that the study sample are normally distributed. While the results of the homogeneity test using Levene's test result data obtained homogeneous. Data in the treatment group before (pre) intervention mean = 41 (SD = 5,033) and after (post) the intervention mean = 116 (SD = 3.146). Hypothesis test results in the group treated with t-test related p value = 0.000, which means the addition of NMES on the pilates exercise can improve core stability in untrained young men. In the control group, the data before (pre) intervention mean = 41.71 (SD = 3,729) and after (post) the intervention mean = 98.29 (SD = 2.812). Tested with t-test related p value = 0.000 which means that pilates exercise can increase core stability in untrained young men. In the experimental group and the control group with the data after (post) the intervention of treatment group mean = 116 (SD = 3.830) and the data after (post) intervention of control group mean = 98.29 (SD = 2,812) were tested with t-test independent to test the significance of comparative unpaired two-sample (independent) p value = 0.000, which means the addition of NMES on the pilates exercise better in improving core stability in young untrained.Conclusion: The addition of NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) at pilates exercise better in improving core stability in young untrained
