Iontophoresis Diclofenac Lebih Efektif Dibandingkan Ultrasound Terhadap Pengurangan Nyeri Pada Myofascial Syndrome Musculus Upper Trapezius
Abstract

Abstract
Objective: to determine the differences of effect of ultrasound and iontophoresis diclofenac to reduce pain in myofascial syndrome upper trapezius muscle. Methods: The experimental study to determine the differences of effect of ultrasound and iontophoresis diclofenac on an object of research. Sample consist of 16 people with 16-35 years old, patient in Esa Unggul Physiotherapy Clinic, was chosen by purposive sampling technique. Group I was given ultrasound treatment and group II was iontophoresis diclofenac. Results: Test for the normality using Saphiro Wilk test and Levene’s test for the homogenity.t-Test of Related in group I was got the value of p=0.000, it means that there is significant pain reduction effect of the ultrasound intervention in myofascial syndrome musculus upper trapezius. t-Test of Related in group II was got the value of p=0.000, it means that there is significant pain reduction effect of the iontophoresis diclofenac intervention in myofascial syndrome upper trapezius muscle. Independent t-Test was got value of p=0.004, it means that there are differences of effect of ultrasound and iontophoresis diclofenac to reduce pain in myofascial syndrome upper trapezius muscle. Conclusion: Iontophoresis diclofenac is more effective than ultrasound, so it can be an option as an effective intervention for the future.
