MEDIASI KOMPETENSI PADA PENGARUH INTERNAL LOCUS OF CONTROL TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMP BERSERTIFIKASI

Abstract


Abstract

This study examines the teacher’s performance of secondary schools  Non RSBI in Tulungagung who had been certified. The approach taken in this study is a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is the AMOS 18. Total population is 180 junior high school teachers in 2007-2008 and teachers who are still actively teaching and not retired on SMP Non RSBI in Tulungagung. Sample taking technique used in this study was nonprobability sampling technique which was called the census technique (saturated) sampling. It is indicate that Performance of teachers who observed in this study caused by competence and also internal locus of control. Results of this study showed a significant effect between internal locus of control toward competence, significant effect of the competence to the performance of teachers, as well as a not significant effect between internal locus of control with teachers performance and a significant effect between internal locus of control and teachers performance through competence as a variable intervening with teacher performance.
