EFEKTIFITAS PEMBERIAN MIRROR THERAPY PADA KLIEN POST STROKE: A LITERATURE REVIEW

Andi Mayasari Usman

Abstract

Abstract

Stroke is one of the global problems and the second number cause of  the death in the world. In Indonesia there is an increase of stroke patients each year which causes an increase in the incidence of post stroke disabilities that require rehabilitation. Rehabilitation of the range of motion using mirror therapy can be done to minimize disability because stroke. Three database used such as ProQuest, EBSCO HOST and PubMed to address mirror therapy and post stroke. The results show that mirror therapy is proven to increase corticospinal stimulation which stimulates the motor evoked potential, giving effect to the movement of both the upper limb and the ability to walk.
