Penilaian Kurikulum Sistem Informasi Oleh Alumni: Studi Kasus Program Magister Teknologi Informasi Universitas Indonesia

Sejumlah penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara kebutuhan industri dengan penyelenggaraan pendidikan di bidang Sistem Informasi (SI), dan menun-jukkan perlunya penilaian kurikulum oleh, antara lain, alumni. Telah dilakukan survei kepada alumni dari Program Magister Teknologi Informasi Universitas Indonesia (MTI-UI) untuk menilai kurikulum SI yang diselenggarakannya. Dalam survei ini, alumni diminta memberikan penilaian menurut suatu skala Likert terhadap manfaat mata kuliah-mata kuliah MTI-UI dalam karier mereka. Sebagai hasil penelitian telah diperoleh nilai manfaat relatif dari tiap mata kuliah dan kecenderungan nilai manfaat mata kuliah dari waktu ke waktu. Diusulkan agar para penyelenggara program SI mengadakan penilaian kurikulum oleh alumni secara berkala dengan menerapkan metodologi yang digunakan dalam studi dan menjadikan hasil penilaian tersebut sebagai salah satu masukan dalam membuat keputusan-keputusan yang berkenaan dengan kurikulum.
