Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phytochemical content and determine the functional function of the compound from ethanol extract 96% red goroho bananas. Sample preparation is cut from the banana

comb part, then cut both ends of the base of goroho banana peel and in pieces of fruit and dried. The extraction was done by maceration using 96% ethanol solvent. Phytochemical screening was performed by analysis of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, steroids, and terpenoids. The determination of the functional group of the compound was carried out by binding the sample with KBr to be a thin plate and

analyzed by FTIR. Based on the results of phytochemical screening that red goroho banana ethanol extract contains alkaloids, flavonoids, and tannins. Extract of 96% ethanol red banana goroho alcohol

group  whose  existence  is  caused  by  water-soluble  carbohydrate  bonds.  The  results  of  this  study concluded that 96% ethanol extract of red goroho banana has starch content.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kandungan fitokimia dan menentukan gugus fungsi senyawa

dari ekstrak etanol 96% pisang goroho merah. Preparasi sampel dipotong dari bagian sisir pisangnya, kemudian dipotong kedua ujung pangkal kulit buah pisang goroho dan di potong-potong buah dan dikeringkan. Ekstraksi dilakukan secara maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%. Penapisan fitokimia dilakukan dengan analisis alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, steroid, dan terpenoid. Penentuan gugus fungsi senyawa dilakukan dengan pengikatan sampel dengan KBr untuk dijadikan plat tipis dan dianalisis dengan FTIR. Berdasarkan hasil dari penapisan fitokimia bahwa ekstrak etanol pisang goroho merah mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, dan tanin. Ekstraketanol 96% pisang gorohomerahgugus alkohol yang keberadaannya disebabkan oleh ikatan karbohidrat yang larut air. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ekstrak etanol 96% pisang goroho merah memiliki kandungan pati.
