PENGARUH PELATIHAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN, KOMPENSASI, DAN BUDAYA ORGANISASI TERHADAP RETENSI KARYAWAN

Abstract


Abstract

The higher level of business competition causes companies increases the needs for higher quality of human resources that are able to come up with innovations in order to adapt to social development and technological advances. On the other hand, companies are competing to maintain a skilled and experienced workforce. The purpose of this study is to determine whether human resources practice such as training and development, compensation, and organizational culture affect employee retention with case studies on PT XYZ. In this research have distributed questionnaires to 90 employees of PT XYZ in LED department. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression method. The results show that training and development have no significant effect on employee retention but compensation and organizational culture have a significant effect on employee retention.

Abstrak

Persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif menyebabkan perusahaan membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas untuk dapat melakukan inovasi agar dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan sosial dan kemajuan teknologi. Di sisi lain, perusahaan menghadapi permasalahan untuk mempertahankan tenaga kerja yang terampil dan berpengalaman karena banyak perusahaan berlomba mencari tenaga kerja yang potensial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dampak praktik sumber daya manusia seperti training and development, compensation, dan organization culture mempengaruhi retensi karyawan dengan studi kasus pada PT XYZ. Dalam penelitian ini telah disebarkan kuesioner kepada 90 karyawan PT XYZ di departemen LED. Data dianalisis dengan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan training and development tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan tetapi compensation dan organization culture memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan
