Abstract

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the difference of SNAGS extension intervention with PA mobilization improving mobility and decreasing disability in cases of lumbar disc bulging. Methods: This study is quasi-exsperimental with pretest-posttest design group. Sampel: Sample consisted of 18 patients at Siaga Raya Hospital. The samples were grouped into 2 groups, group I consisted of 9 samples with SNAGS extension and group II consisted of 9 samples with PA mobilization intervention.Result: normality test obtained normal distributed data, homogeneity test have homogeneous data. Hypothesis test in group I with paired sample t-test p <0.001 in modifiedODI and MMST p <0.001 means SNAGS extension increase mobility and decrease disability in case of lumbar disc bulging. Group II with paired sample t-test p <0.001 was obtained in modified ODI and MMST p <0.001, means PA mobilization increase mobility and decrease disability in case of lumbar disc bulging. The independent t-test showed p <0.001 on modifiedODI and MMST means there is difference between SNAGS extension and PA mobilization in increasing mobility and decreasing disability in case of lumbar disc bulging. Conclusion: There is difference between SNAGS extension interventions with PA mobilization in increasing mobility and decreasing disability in cases of lumbar disc bulging.
