ANALISIS PERILAKU KEKERASAN FISIK DAN PSIKOLOGIS KELOMPOK RESIKO (LANJUT USIA) PENGHUNI LAPAS, LAPAS KELAS I TANGERANG

Abstract

Aging in the elderly results in elderly belong to the risk group. Risk groups more easily exposed to health problems, one of which is physical and psychological violence. Risk groups who are in a risky place, causing the individual as a vulnerable group, one place is lemabaga pemayarakatan-risk. This study aims to determine the behavior of physical and psychological violence on elderly inmates in prisons. The study used a sample of 36 respondents totaled occupants penitentiary. The research instrument refers Hwalek-sengtock questionnaire using Likert scale. The results showed that elderly prisoners suffered physical violence (58.33%) and psychological (63.89%). The results of the study recommend nurses, psychologists and prison officers to cooperate in the prevention of physical and psychological violence, as well as improving the means of religious and spiritual as a coping performed by elderly inmates.

Abstrak

Penuaan pada lansia mengakibatkan lansia termasuk ke dalam kelompok berisiko. Kelompok berisiko lebih mudah terpapar masalah kesehatan, salah satunya adalah kekerasan fisik dan psikologis. Kelompok berisiko yang berada dalam tempat berisko, menyebabkan individu tersebut sebagai kelompok rentan, salah satu tempat berisko adalah lemabaga pemayarakatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku kekerasan fisik dan psikologis pada narapidana lansia di lembaga pemasyarakatan. Penelitian menggunakan sampel total berjumlah 36 responden  penghuni  lembaga pemasyarakatan. Instrumen penelitian merujuk pada kuesioner Hwalek-sengtock dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa narapidana lansia mengalami kekerasan fisik (58,33%) dan psikologis (63,89%). Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan perawat, psikolog dan petugas lapas untuk bekerjasama dalam melakukan pencegahan kekerasan fisik dan psikologis, serta meningkatkan sarana keagamaan dan spiritual sebagai koping yang dilakukan oleh narapidana lansia.
