PERSEPSI RISIKO KESELAMATAN BERKENDARA BERDASARKAN PARADIGMA PSIKOMETRI PADA PENGGUNA KENDARAAN RODA DUA

This study aims to provide an overview of risk perception of safety and health in the two-wheeler users in Esa Unggul University using psychometric paradigm. The study was conducted on 150 respondents in March – May 2016 using cross - sectional design, the primary data in the form of questionnaires, and supporting data by interviewing informants. The parameters used are Likert scale numbers 1 - 4. The average value of each dimension is calculated as numbers 1 (low), 2-3 (moderate), 4 (good). The results showed that the perception of respondents have been quite good, but still needed to improve. Dimensions voluntary acceptance of perceived high, it means that the workers willing to accept any risks involved in the workplace. In order to create the required behavior of safety cultured, safety related management commitment is strong, safety applicative training and participation of all workers to always safety promote.
