PERANCANGAN PRODUK FURNITUR BERUPA KURSI DENGAN MENERAPKAN KONSEP VISUAL BERTEMAKAN BIOPOP (TOON-LAB)“TAKOY CHAIRâ€

Abstract

In this modern era, products have emerged that can support all activities, along with an aesthetic that is able to attract. From there the designers flocked to produce designs as attractive as possible to be able to attract the interest of buyers. The world designers think hard to bring the latest innovations in the world of furniture design. The results of the thoughts of these designers are present in Trend Forcasting. Starting from Resistance 2016/2017 Trend Forcasting releases 4 design themes namely Biopop, Human, Colony, and Refugium. The biopop themes have unique characteristics in each part. Of the four themes that have been released the theme of the toon-lab is considered to have its own uniqueness, because it displays full-color colors and cartoon motifs that can remind us of childhood. This visual representation of the toon-lab theme is a unique idea. The theme can be a reinforcement, if applied in a furniture product. Furniture products in the form of chairs can be the main media in applying the theme of the toon-lab. Integrating the theme of the toon-lab in the design of a chair is very fixed. Because the concept produces characters that strengthen this chair furniture, so it looks attractive and alluring. But it still provides comfort for anyone who uses it.

Abstrak

Di era yang serba modern ini, telah bermunculan produk-produk yang dapat menunjang segala aktifitas ,serta diiringi dengan estetika yang mampu memikat. Dari situlah para desainer berbondong-bondong mehasilkan rancangan semenarik mungkin untuk dapat menarik minat dari para pembeli. Para desainer dunia berfikir keras untuk menghadirkan inovasi-inovasi terbaru dalam dunia desain furnitur. Hasil dari pemikiran para desainer inilah hadir dalam Trend Forcasting. Berawal dari Resistance 2016/2017 Trend Forcasting rilis 4 tema desain yaitu Biopop, Human, Colony, dan Refugium.Tema-tema biopop tersebut miliki karekteristik yang unik  disetiap bagiannya. Dari ke empat tema yang telah rilis tema toon-lab dirasa memiliki keunikan tersendiri, karena menampilkan warna-warna yang full-color dan motif-motif kartun yang daapat mengingatkan kita dengan masa kanak-kanak. Visual yang tergambarkan dari tema toon-lab inilah yang menjadi sebuah ide unik. Tema tersebut dapat menjadi penguat, apabila di aplikasikan dalam sebuah produk furnitur. Produk furnitur berupa kursi dapat menjadi media utama dalam menerapkan tema dari toon-lab. Memadukan tema toon-lab pada perancangan sebuah kursi ini sangat tetap. Karena konsep tersebut menghasilkan karakter yang menguatkan furnitur kursi ini ,sehingga terlihat menarik dan memikat. Namun tetap memberikan kenyamanan bagi siapapunyang menggunakanya.
