Mengukur Innovative Work Behavior Melalui Mediasi Work Engagement Karyawan Coffee Shop
Abstract
Innovative work behaviors plays a critical role for long-term organizational success and survival and refers to activities related to developing and encouraging employee innovation. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of perceived organizational support (POS), psychological well-being (PWB), organizational culture (OC) on work engagement (WE) and innovative work behavior (IWB) in the coffee shop industry in DKI Jakarta. This study was designed using purposive sampling method involving 140 employees of the coffee shop industry in DKI Jakarta. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results in this study indicate that perceived organizational support has no effect on work engagement. Psychological well-being and organizational culture have a positive effect on work engagement. Work Engagement has a positive effect on innovative work behavior. Perceived organizational support, psychological well-being, and organizational culture have a positive effect on innovative work behavior. Psychological well-being and organizational culture have an indirect relationship in increasing innovative work behavior. The managerial implication of this research is that industries need to increase support, good culture, and psychological well-being to employees to stimulate increased work engagement and innovative work behavior, which in turn will support the continuity and success of the organization.
