HUBUNGAN PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN RASIONAL DENGAN AKUNTABILITAS KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship of decision making with accountability. This study was conducted in private school in the area Catholic Education Council of the Archdiocese of Jakarta (Majelis Keuskupan Agung Jakarta). The research method used was survey by correlation approach. Sample size 67 school principals. The finding of the research: there is a positive relation of rational decision making with accountability. Recommendation for increasing the accountability of school principals is the development of rational decision making abilities through the authority’s mandate and the principles of autonomy, and the application of the principle of accountability of school principals as educational management.

Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki hubungan pengambilan keputusan dengan akuntabilitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah swasta Katolik Keuskupan Agung Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan pendekatan korelasi. ukuran sampel 67 kepala sekolah. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan positif keputusan rasional dengan akuntabilitas. Rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan akuntabilitas kepala sekolah adalah pengembangan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan yang rasional melalui mandat kewenangan dan prinsip-prinsip otonomi, dan penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas kepala sekolah sebagai manajemen pendidikan.
