Abstract

For companies, working capital plays an important role as a driving force in the company's operational activity system. It is necessary to do working capital management to increase the company's profitability. The purpose of this study was to analyze the working capital policy applied at PT. Global Mediacom, Tbk, analyzes working capital growth, and analyzes the level of working capital efficiency in generating profitability at PT. Global Mediacom, Tbk for the period 2014-2018. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements and the analysis technique used is descriptive and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach. The results of the analysis of this study are the working capital policies implemented by PT. Global Mediacom, Tbk for the 2014-2018 period is an aggressive policy. The growth rate of working capital at PT. Global Mediacom, Tbk achieved the highest growth in 2017 so that the company gained a large profit in that year. The level of efficiency of working capital using the DEA approach from PT. Global Mediacom, Tbk have achieved CRS efficiency levels, namely in 2014 and 2018.
